American Legion Join your fellow veterans at the American Legion, a community-service organization which numbers nearly 3 million members. For only $20 per year, you'll receive their monthly magazine and be eligible for a long list of veteran member discounts. Military Records Online This site helps veterans obtain copies of their military personnel records, such as their DD-214. If you already have your DD-214 or other separation papers, click here and we will assist you in obtaining your VA Certificate of Eligibility. Texas Veterans Land Board (TVLB) This is the main website for the Texas Veterans Land Board, and it has all kinds of information about the Housing Assistance Program, the Home Improvement Program, and the Direct Land Purchase Program. It has news and announcements of importance to veterans in the State of Texas. They're doing a great job for us vets! Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) This is the main website for the VFW in Texas. From here you can find many valuable resources for veterans, including information on local VFW branches. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Go to the source on VA loans and other benefits. This site has everything you'd ever want to know about the benefits provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The only trick is actually finding the information you're looking for!
