A property tax exemption removes part of the value of your property from taxation which therefore lowers your property tax bill.  There is NO FEE to file and you only need to do it once.  You have from January through April to file, but why wait?

3 Easy Steps:

1.  Click on your county link below.

2.  Print the Homestead Exemption Form and follow the instructions.  (Include the Disabled Veteran or Over-65 forms if applicable.)

3.  Mail or fax the completed forms to your county office per their instructions and call them if you have any questions.
