We decided to buy our house through the bank we have been with for over 15 years. Mistake #1! Most loan officers do not understand how a VA loan works, let alone how to compare it to the Texas Vet loan. In our frustration we found Chad and the VA Team. He helped us understand our loan options and was with us through the entire process. He was even present at close. He and his team will make you feel like you are his only client. Thanks!

Chad Bowman and the VA Team are the best! Chad responds quickly to emails and phone calls and makes himself readily available. We had a situation where we were told we would close on the 8th of the month and Chad made it happen on the 30th of the previous month! He didn’t have to do this for us, but he was able to get it done just because we asked! Bridget Slate is also amazing, she made sure if Chad was busy, that she answered any questions we had and gave Chad any messages we needed to leave for him. Overall, the mortgage experience was fantastic and was much easier and less stressful than I thought it would be! Thank you VA Team for treating us like valued people instead of just numbers!

This was our first home loan.   We met Chad during my husband’s two week R and R. Our realtor, Edna Stalik, recommended that we use Chad for our loan. She had heard great things about him. Since this was our first home purchase, my wife and I were very overwhelmed with the idea of buying a home, much less the actual process. Chad’s team was very patient and very thorough. He would always take the time to explain every question through whatever means is the most convenient for you; phone, email, or even in his office, and the response time for every inquiry was always below 5 min. He really makes you feel as if you are his only customer.

Every time there was a new update in the loan process, Chad would always contact us above everyone else, and he even published an end of the week update to keep all parties informed.   Now that the home purchase is complete, I know that I can call Chad at any time for questions that arrise and I would recieve the same level of service as if he were still working the loan. I have been searching for a loan originator who really understood VA so I could help Veterans. I knew I had found the right person when I met Chad Bowman. I just did my first deal with The VA Team and I was blown away. Honestly, I have never had better communication regarding a client’s loan process. I was well-informed through the whole process, which gave me a real “warm fuzzy” about how things were going. The title company had docs on Monday afternoon for a Friday closing. The Va Team lead by Chad Bowman in one word. Awesome!!!! Chad is not some person who just wanted to make money and do VA loans… He is X-Military USMC .(which I didnt hold against him) and truly wants to help Vets get the loan they need to secure there dreams. My loan from start to finish was 22 days from start to funding. There were no issues. Period. Chad has a system that is sound and proven and very well oiled. Status updates are provided at every step of the loan. You never have to guess where you are at in the loan process. If I ever need another loan I will without a doubt use Chad and his team again.

Congratulate me! I am the first on my block to take advantage of the incredible refinance rates available right now. My first call was to my brother-in-law who is an Austin Real Estate broker. He immediately referred me to his “best” refi guy. I made the call and waited…and waited. To date, he still has not returned my inquiry. My second, and final call went to Chad Bowman and United Lending. He and his team made this process infititely less complicated and stressful than I had expected. We beat our closing date goal by one day and I am very pleased with everything! My financial situation is complicated so there was much forensic work that Chad and his team did to make this go through. I have colleagues in similar situations that started the process before me and are still waiting to close. Not me! In addition, mine was not a VA loan. So Chad is available to assist ANY customer. I was purchasing a new home from a builder in the Cedar Park area. They wanted me to go with “their” mortgage company because “they knew their way of doing business and could close in 30 days”. They also told me that if I went with them, that the builder would throw in over $6k in closing costs and fees. Chad was able to convince them that we would close by the required date. Because everything with the “VA Team” is in-house, there wasn’t the “normal” passing of the buck and blaming someone else for the delays. There were no delays!!! Not only did we close in plenty of time, but everything went very smoothly! This wasn’t my first time buying a house (my 5th) or using my VA Loan (my 2nd), but it was the best experience I’ve had with a Financing Company! Would totally recommend them to anyone!

Chad is the absolute best at what he does! He’ll help improve your financial situation or buy a house…he’s the best!! Because I’m single and female, I never thought I’d ever be able to buy a house of my own, even with a VA Loan, but Chad helped me through the whole process and made it totally painless. He took care of the financial end of things and explained everything to me so that I could understand what was happening each step of the way. I was trying to buy a home in Leander, TX, at a time when the housing market was just starting to crash. Our closing was postponed once and could have been postponed again, but Chad worked all night to get another lender so that we could go ahead and complete the closing. Then, Chad attended the closing, too. Just by being there, he really made me feel a lot better and more confident about buying my own home for the first time in my life!! During the process of buying my home, Chad suggested that I make an effort to reduce my credit debt. About a year after being in my new home, I finally took his advice. It was absolutely the BEST thing I ever did. I am now just a few months from being totally debt free, except for my mortgage, but being debt free will allow me to start paying down the principle on my home which will bring me closer to paying off my mortgage and being totally and completely debt free!! Chad Bowman is a jewel in the financial world. My life is so much better because of all the work he did to help me purchase my first home. I really can’t say thank you enough. But, as a way of saying “thank you” I will continue to refer people to Chad and tell everyone I meet how great he is to work with. Chad was the face in front of what must be a strong team. But frankly I never needed to talk to another individual there. He interfaced the back office issues to me in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner. Even though we are older buyers, it is our first home purchase and that was a number one priority with me since my husband was disabled by strokes a few years ago and I needed confidence in my lender. I work 10 hour days and Chad easily kept up with my schedule communicating at 7 in the morning or at 6 at night to keep me informed of the progress on the VA loan. At closing the seller mentioned that she was very impressed at the speed at which this lender was able to bring the sale to fruition. They hadn’t believed that a VA loan would come off so quickly. With this team, you need have no fear on making an offer and having them back you up!

They picked up our loan within 3 weeks of our scheduled closed date and, instead of settling for our close date of June 11, they were able to get us to close on June 4. A whole week early! Chad Bowman and his United Lending team, are the reason my wife and I own our new home. This was the most pleasurable buying experience we have ever been a part of. Chad is one of the most honest, dedicated, and hard working men we have ever had the pleasure of working with. I submitted my request for a VA loan approval on Sunday afternoon. The next day, at 6:00 AM, Chad had already completed all of the pre-approval paperwork for our VA loan. Our overall experience with Chad was fantastic! He has a naturally comforting manner. You know right away you can trust him; NO MATTER THE NEWS, GOOD OR BAD, HE’LL BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT IT. Although I knew he was busy, he treated us with care, taking whatever time we required to listen and explain, whether in-person, via emails, or phone calls. He was always there for us with a bright smile and a welcomed quick wit. The one thing, there were many, that Chad did that made our experience a positive one is that he was honest with us. Chad was very professional. He even went above and beyond by assisting me with a termite inspection that he took care of without my knowledge in order to make the closing date. Our experience in a word: OUTSTANDING! I can honestly say that my experience with Chad Bowman was night and day different from past experiences. Excellent experience! We were always kept informed on the progress of our loan and when we needed further information, we received quick responses to all our questions. During the month that we decided to refinanced our house, we also decided to start other projects (i.e. installing carpet and tile, fixing our alarm system), so it was a very stressful month working with different contractors. We are pleased to say that Chad was the only one who provided us with excellent service!

Integrity, trust, confidence, commitment, timeliness, efficiency, resourcefulness, and above all, professionalism — that’s the Chad Bowman Experience! Chad gave us several clear cut options, he told us the truth, and he delivered without compromise. He kept us calm, continually informed, and most importantly, he was available for our questions. Chad answers his phone, or if he’s not available, he returns his calls very promptly, and he shows up at closing. When Chad says “I got you covered; don’t worry about it”… he means it. Our escrow officer (with 40 years in the business) asked us “Where did you find this guy? He’s amazing!” That perhaps explains why we?ve purchased two homes so far with Chad. Chad Bowman, the VA Loan Specialist at Bowman Finance, made it easy for me to understand how the loan process works. He?s great! From the very beginning he made it clear that he was there to help me with the loan process and ensured that I completely understood what I needed to do in order to get my VA home loan. I was selling my home in another state and buying another one with VA financing in Texas and I had a 30-day window to make it happen. Other people told me all kinds of horrifying stories of how hard it was going to be because of the VA. After my first meeting with Chad, I knew that I had the right person helping me because he truly is a VA Loan Specialist. We were really impressed with the responsiveness and expertise demonstrated by Chad Bowman. After 20 years in the Navy, this is our fifth home purchase, and we’ve never seen anything close to this level of personalized and professional service. We knew we wanted to go with a Conventional Texas Veteran Housing Loan, so I contacted 13 different mortgage brokers from the Texas Veterans Land Board website for our county. I asked each of the 13 brokers to answer a list of questions so that I had a means to compare them. Chad’s responses to my questions were by far the most informed, accurate, and timely. His detailed, accurate, and insightful responses clearly set him apart as the most competent and knowledgeable broker of the 13 I contacted. We were impressed with his service from Day One right up to the closing date where he was right there personally assisting us. He is so engaged and proactive that he makes a complicated process run smooth as glass. At our closing, Chad even gave us a CD with digital copies of all of the important documents from the loan process (credit report, sales contract, appraisal, survey, etc.) to facilitate easy archiving and future retrieval. If we ever purchase another home, we won’t waste time calling anyone else. We’d use Chad again in a heartbeat!
